We use fresh tuvar to make pulav and curry. Here is an easy curry, which can be cooked in a pressure cooker and can be Heat oil, add mustard, fennel seeds, curry leaves. Add onion, garlic saute till light brown. Add boiled green toor dal saute.

Steps to make Green tuvar curry:
  1. Boil green tuvar add pinch of soda and pinch of sugar to maintain green colour.
  2. Make a paste of onion, garlic and tomatoes keep aside ready.
  3. Heat a pan add oil. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds add hing.
  4. Add green garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  5. Add onion paste and saute till get brown in colour.
  6. Add tomato puree and again saute till oil get separated.
  7. Add masala and saute for a minute.
  8. Now add tuvar Dana and 1/2 glass of water and boil it well. Enjoy it with roti and rice.

Add onion, garlic saute till light brown. Add boiled green toor dal saute. Green toor dal kurma ready, serve hot with rice, idli, dosa or uthappam. Green tuvar dal curry Procedure In a medium bowl mix gulkand, pinch of cardamom powder, fennel seeds and the papaya chunks (tutti fruity). Now to a sauce pan add the condensed milk, green food color and mix until well blended.
