- Get 3 cloves garlic
- Get 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- Get 1/2 teaspoons fennel seeds
- Make ready 1/2 teaspoons coriander seeds
- Make ready 1/2 teaspoons mustard seeds
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoons rainbow pepper
- Take 1 teaspoons Himalayan salt
- Prepare 3 tablespoons water
Season with coarse salt and ground pepper. Pork shoulder is a relatively tough and inexpensive cut of meat layered with fat that comes from the pig's shoulder region. You may also see this cut labeled as pork butt or Boston butt, but this is actually shoulder meat. The actual rear of the pig is called the ham.
Instructions to make Pork shoulder & green beans:
- Heat the oven to 200°C. Sprinkle the olive oil in a oven proof tray, add the pork shoulder steaks in the tray.
- Mix all dry ingredients for the pork seasoning toghether and sprinkle on top of the steaks. Add the water and cover the tray with foil.
- Cook covered for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and cook uncovered for another 30 minutes on low heat 160° C.
- For the green beans - add the olive oil to a pan on medium heat.
- Add the onion and cook for a few minutes until it's soft and translucent. Add the garlic and cook for a few seconds, add the water to ensure the garlic it's not burning.
- Add the green beans and cook covered for 10 minutes.
- Add all dry ingredients into a food processor and mix them all, until they became a omogen mixture of seasoning.
- Add the seasoning on top of the beans and stir well. Cook uncovered until the beans are soft and all water is evaporated.
- Serve them toghether. Enjoy!
