- Get 1 litre full fat milk
- Get 3/4 cup sugar
- Get 1 spoon Cardamom powder
Adding sugar, condensed milk and bread crumbs to reduce the overall cooking time of quick rabdi. It will start to form a thin layer of malai/cream. Within some time, it forms again and similarly stick it. Both basundi and rabri are made by reducing the milk.

- Take heavy bottom pan and add 1 litre of full fat milk.
- Now boil milk and stirr continuously
- Continue boil milk till it reduces half in quantity.
- At this time add sugar and continue stirr till sugar dissolves completely.
- Now add Cardamom powder and mix well.
- Now turn gas off and cool it at room temperature.now when it get cool transfer it in silicone round mold.
- Now keep it in deep freezer to set.after set removes slowly.
- Now take two half sphere and rub with each other to make sphere.now frozen rabdi is ready to serve.
Within some time, it forms again and similarly stick it. Both basundi and rabri are made by reducing the milk. The only difference is in the consistency of both these desserts. While basundi is slightly thinner, rabdi is thicker in consistency. Basundi is creamier while rabdi has chunks of malai.
